December 9, 2014 Board Meeting Agenda Item #17 Title APPROVAL OF EXPULSION CASE NO. 15-034 Description The student listed in Expulsion Case No. 15-034, refused to sign an accepted settlement agreement for Alternative School Placement. On February 14, 2014 the student violated School Board Policy 5.32 Repetitive Disobedience, Insubordination, Open Defiance. It is the recommendation of the Superintendent that the student be expelled from Sarasota County Schools until February 20, 2015.  Recommendation That in accordance with provisions of Sections 1006.07(1)(a)(b), Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5.34, the holding of a hearing having been waived by the student/parent, the recommendation as specified in Expulsion Case No. 15-034, to expel the student referenced therein from the Sarasota County Schools, be approved effective immediately until February 20, 2015.
